Alaska Wild Adventures

July 10

Going up Icy Bay is a real treat. I love climbing on Icebergs, and getting to see the Harbor Seals that go up the bay to have their seal pups. Icy Bay has the largest congregation of Harbor Seals in the world. The seals go up the bay to have their pups and for some reason they do not have any predators. No Killer Whales come up the bay, which is the predator of the harbor seal.

Winchester likes to get on the ice too!

Besides going up the bay in a boat we had the opportunity to go up in a helicopter. The views from the helicopter are spectacular.
